Acceptable Use Policy
wellsyncy was built to help people. This Acceptable Use Policy makes sure it keeps being used that way. By using the Service, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in suspension or termination, with or without notice, depending on severity.
1. In the spirit of the thing
wellsyncy exists to help companies improve employee wellbeing. We will not support any use of the Service that treats employees as metrics to optimize, threats to monitor, or problems to eliminate. If you're unsure whether a use case is appropriate, please ask us.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use the Service (or allow or encourage anyone else to use it) to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Engage in discrimination, harassment, or retaliation on the basis of protected characteristics;
- Attempt to re-identify or de-anonymize individual employees from aggregated data;
- Make significant employment decisions (hiring, firing, promotion, discipline) solely on the basis of wellsyncy signals;
- Upload, process, or share data you are not authorized to share;
- Send spam, phishing content, malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or abusive.
3. Employee protection
You must:
- Inform employees that your organization uses wellsyncy, in line with local law and any collective agreements;
- Respect employees' choices around optional features, check-ins, and personal AI coaching;
- Never coerce employees to disclose sensitive health or wellbeing data.
4. Security & integrity
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls;
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code;
- Interfere with the delivery of the Service to other users.

5. AI misuse
You must not use wellsyncy's AI features to:
- Generate content intended to deceive, defame, or harass;
- Make final determinations about an individual's performance, employment status, or compensation;
- Produce clinical health advice for third parties — wellsyncy is not a medical device.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. Severe violations (security attacks, illegal activity, or clear harm to employees) may result in immediate termination without refund.
